Oxford PharmaGenesis has an exciting opportunity for a Biostatistician to join our company to help support and grow our biostatistics capabilities. You will be responsible for performing statistical analyses, including feasibility assessments, meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs). You will work closely with our Value Demonstration Practice, which conducts systematic literature reviews and develops resulting communications, as well as collaborating with other internal teams to design and deliver biostatistics projects for our clients.

You will liaise confidently with clients and contribute to high-quality statistical outputs, ensuring that analyses are delivered accurately and in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulations and health technology assessment (HTA) guidelines. You will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, and excellent communication skills to convey statistical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Our Value Demonstration Practice is based in Oxfordshire, so this role would suit someone who can work on a hybrid basis from our Oxfordshire office, Central Oxford office or Cardiff office.

Qualifications:
  • An MSc in statistics, biostatistics or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience as a statistician supporting health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and HTA analyses, clinical trials, medical affairs, or clinical development in a consultancy or industry setting
  • A good understanding of HEOR and market access principles, including up-to-date knowledge of statistical methods used in meta-analyses and ITCs
  • Experience of performing statistical analyses in R, ensuring quality and integrity by adhering to SOPs, regulations and HTA guidelines.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Employees may work from one of our Oxfordshire office, Central Oxford office or Cardiff office up to 3 days a week in person, with the remainder remotely.
