Overview
Assistant Headteacher role at Oxford Outcomes, Colne Grange School, Uxbridge (UB8 2YG). Salary up to £55,000 per annum (not pro rata). Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm. Contract: Permanent, Term Time only. Start: September 2025. UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.
About The Role
Join our new Options Autism School – Colne Grange School in Uxbridge, part of Options Autism. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher who aims to bring innovation and creativity to inspire learning in an SEN environment for pupils with varied needs. You will be the custodian of our safeguarding culture, ensuring pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible. In partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will deliver clear, authentic leadership to our multidisciplinary team, establish school aims and objectives, ensure high levels of quality and compliance, and work collaboratively to develop appropriate, individualised programmes of learning for our pupils.

- Establish and monitor school aims and objectives aligned with SEN provision
- Ensure high standards of quality, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
- Develop and oversee individualised learning programmes for pupils with autism and varied needs
- Promote a positive, inclusive culture where pupils are listened to and involved in decisions
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher with experience, leadership skills and a vision to empower students to achieve their potential. Requirements include a degree or equivalent and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience in an SEN environment, ability to lead a team, and genuine motivation to help every pupil reach their potential are essential.
About The School
Colne Grange School is a new specialist ASD provision. As part of the Hillingdon Grange group of schools and the Outcomes First Group, Colne Grange provides day education to pupils with autism across multiple sites, addressing a wide spectrum of needs. The school emphasises personalised teaching in a small-class setting, aligning with an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and National Curriculum where appropriate. Outcomes First Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
