Oxford Nanopore Technologies aims to bring the widest benefits to society through enabling the analysis of anything, by anyone, anywhere. The company has developed a new generation of nanopore-based sensing technology for faster, information-rich, accessible and affordable molecular analysis. The first application is DNA/RNA sequencing, and the technology is in development for the analysis of other types of molecules including proteins. The technology is used to understand and characterise the biology of humans and diseases such as cancer, plants, animals, bacteria, viruses, and whole environments.
We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Biologics QC team as a QC Analyst. This role supports the day-to-day batch release testing of production materials.
The successful candidate will support batch release testing of production materials ensuring batch records are correctly followed, incoming materials are successfully logged and stored, and relevant process partners are updated on progress. This role will also involve keeping JIRA tickets up to date.
- PRM and Stability
- QC data tracking
- Updating BPs and item specifications
- Raising Change Note, Deviation, CAPA and Non-conformance
- General lab maintenance
We'll expect you to have some relevant analytical experience ideally in a medical device or pharmaceutical industry. You should have a working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods and be familiar with continuous improvement methodologies as well as GMP and GLP. We're looking for someone who has a good eye for detail as well as being a strong communicator.
This role will suit someone who is quality and process driven, team orientated, responsive to customer needs and who wants to influence change positively and effectively. A BSc or equivalent is required.
