Job Title: Tech Transfer Specialist – Sequencing Platforms About the Role: Oxford Nanopore Technologies is a global leader in real-time nanopore-based DNA/RNA sequencing technology. We are seeking a skilled Tech Transfer Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in preparing new platforms or updates of existing Oxford Nanopore platforms for release into production. Key Responsibilities: Run pilot production lines of new sequencing platforms to prepare for release into production. Identify and assess areas of improvement on all new developments for Oxford Nanopore platforms and address those areas prior to releasing the product to the production team. Support ongoing work to introduce iterative improvements across the whole range of Oxford Nanopore sequencing platforms by running pilot production lines of established product lines. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a suitable scientific subject (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, physics). Relevant lab-based skills and experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Motivated to achieve results and work well to deadlines. What We Offer: A competitive salary of £45,000 – £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
