The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Regional Marketing DACH & Channel Partners to lead the development, execution, and optimisation of regional marketing strategies across the DACH region and the EMEAI Channel Partner network.

Working closely with commercial, product and global marketing teams, you will drive go-to-market initiatives, demand generation programmes, customer engagement activities and sales enablement efforts that support regional growth objectives and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and target customer segments across DACH and the EMEAI Channel Partner network.
  • Adapt global messaging and campaigns to regional market needs.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitive activity to inform marketing plans.
  • Collect and communicate customer and market feedback to support product and commercial strategy.
  • Pilot and implement regional marketing initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
  • Ensure consistent application of marketing processes, brand standards and performance metrics.

Marketing Campaigns

  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Events teams to deliver regional campaigns, events and customer engagement programmes.
  • Manage regional marketing budgets and investment priorities.
  • Track campaign performance and optimise activities against agreed KPIs.
  • Support localisation and translation of marketing materials where required.

Commercial Enablement

  • Support direct sales teams and channel partners with training, tools and demand generation programmes.
  • Provide regional market and competitor insights to strengthen commercial positioning.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams to develop and localise sales and marketing collateral.
  • Partner with key opinion leaders and strategic stakeholders to support commercial objectives.
  • Represent Oxford Nanopore at customer meetings, events and presentations as required.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of the genomics, biotechnology or life sciences market across EMEAI.
  • Experience working with both direct sales organisations and channel partner networks.
  • Strong understanding of the DACH market and customer landscape.
  • Proven success developing and executing regional marketing strategies that drive growth and market penetration.
  • Experience leading product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • A data-driven approach with experience measuring and optimising marketing performance.
