What You’ll Be Doing
As Associate Director you’ll lead the development of external business partnerships from initial concept through to execution and ongoing relationship management. You’ll collaborate across ONT to assess opportunities, build business cases and structure deals that support long‑term growth.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Acting as the main point of contact for one or more market segments within the business development team
- Developing a deep understanding of clinical and industrial applications of ONT’s technology
- Collaborating with Commercial Clinical Solutions Marketing Product Management Finance and Legal teams
- Building and maintaining business cases and financial models for new opportunities
- Preparing and presenting partnership proposals for executive review
- Supporting negotiations from term sheet to final agreement
- Managing a dashboard of active partnership projects
- Promoting and adhering to ONT’s partnering frameworks and processes
- Mentoring junior team members as the team expands
- Any other duties as required within the remit of the role
We’re looking for someone who is :
- Experienced in business development ideally within biotech, healthcare or industrial sectors
- Skilled in building strategic partnerships and navigating complex deal structures
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally and managing multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in financial modelling and commercial analysis
- A strong communicator with excellent project management skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in business development or strategic partnerships
- Experience with Salesforce Power BI and Tableau (advantageous)
- Background in clinical or industrial markets is a plus
