We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee two high‑performing teams:
- Scientific Communications & Publications: Responsible for translating published applications of Oxford Nanopore technology into accessible impactful content for internal and external audiences. This team also mines publication and grant data to uncover trends and generate strategic insights.
- Content Marketing: Creators of high-impact multi-channel content that transforms complex scientific and technical information into engaging narratives. Their work supports awareness, interest and conversion across digital and print platforms.
This role is pivotal in ensuring data-driven decision-making, aligning content strategy with market trends and collaborating across global marketing and commercial teams to deliver timely, relevant and inspiring content. This role is being offered on an 18 Month Maternity Cover Basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic content creation across Scientific Communications, Publications and Content Marketing teams ensuring alignment with campaign goals and commercial priorities.
- Oversee the development and delivery of engaging scientific content that supports the customer journey and meets the needs of internal stakeholders.
- Drive the strategy for blog and post-event content ensuring relevance and impact across global marketing and business teams.
- Guide the curation and dissemination of scientific publications providing insights and tools to support sales and strategic decision-making.
- Champion voice‑of‑customer storytelling ensuring content is accessible, compelling and tailored to audience needs.
- Integrate data-driven insights into content strategy using performance analytics to inform prioritisation and continuous improvement.
