The Role
As the Sales Manager, EMEAI Inside Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for critical decisions that impact the business both tactically and strategically. You\’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, field teams, and channel partners to drive adoption and use of our technology solutions. This role is based in the UK, preferably within commuting distance of Oxford, and will cover the UK & Ireland, as well as the Nordics and Baltics regions
Key Responsibilities
Selling Management:
- Managing opportunity and territory planning process
- Managing sales funnel, pipeline and forecasting process
- Managing the sales reporting process
Business Management:
- Applying Business Acumen to both strategy and tactical plans with the team
Resource planning and effective allocation
Relationship management with strategic customers
People Management:
- Practicing effective recruitment, hiring and onboarding of new hires
- Practicing effecting training, coaching and development of the team.
Who You Are
- BSc/MSc in Life sciences, Genetics/Genomics
- An experienced sales professional with experience in a life sciences environment, preferably within an Inside Sales environment
- Have an understanding of current DNA sequencing technologies and their applications
- Experience in coaching people within a commercial team (direct or indirect)
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Seismic, and sales enablement tools is a plus.
