We are looking for a Sequencing Systems Product Manager to join our team, supporting our low throughput sequencing systems portfolio. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, commercial, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure the ongoing success, evolution, and growth of our low throughput sequencing products. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this position is ideal for someone with experience in product management or product marketing within Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) or life sciences.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle management of low throughput sequencing systems
- Define and maintain the product roadmap, driving continuous improvement
- Partner with operations and supply chain to ensure product availability and sustainability
- Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and regional teams to support product positioning and market growth
- Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to drive data-informed decisions
- Act as a subject matter expert, aligning R&D and commercial teams on product capabilities
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across the product lifecycle
- Support the development of product documentation, value propositions, and internal training materials
What We’re Looking For
- Background in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) with a degree in life sciences (biology, chemistry, or similar) or equivalent experience
- Experience in product management, product ownership, or product marketing roles
- Strong understanding of sequencing technologies and workflows
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts
- A genuine passion for innovation, technology, and DNA sequencing
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
