We are looking for an experienced and motivated ESG & Risk Associate to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve ESG performance within supply chains and work with category buyers and managers to reduce risk within the supply chain.

Please note, this is a fixed term contract.

The Details…

You will be involved in a broad range of ESG & Risk projects and ensure alignment with organizational policies and objectives.

  • Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the ESG & Risk Procurement Manager in defining and actioning ESG & Risk projects
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand Oxford Nanopores supply chains
  • Work with key suppliers to understand their supply chains
  • Develop a clear understanding of potential risks and ESG opportunities within various supply chains and their impact on suppliers and the wider Oxford Nanopore business
  • Collate data from suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Use understanding of supply chains to improve data and mapping of supply chains within Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) systems
  • Ensure data is consistent across ERP and SCRM systems
  • SCRM & ERP systems reporting
  • Any other duties as might be required within the remit and responsibilities of the post.

We’ll expect you to have a background in procurement, and preferably ESG in a fast paced world.

You know your way around Microsoft office applications, can work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure and enjoy using your initiative to aid decision making. In addition, you understand the importance of taking a confidential approach.
