Oxford Mutual Aid (OMA) was established during the Covid-19 pandemic as a community-driven initiative to address food insecurity in Oxford. Dedicated to combating the city's pressing food poverty crisis, OMA provides regular and emergency parcels filled with nutritious food, toiletries, and essential items to vulnerable individuals and families. The organization supports approximately 1,000 people monthly and has delivered over 11,000 parcels in 2025 alone. OMA operates as a collective, community-led effort, repurposing surplus food and offering holistic support through check-ins, signposting, and case management.
