My client is a leading tech-driven prop trading firm, trading their own capital across a broad range of asset classes, instruments and strategies in markets worldwide. They are looking for exceptional backend software developers to join their Compliance group, providing technology solutions that underpin the firm's regulatory reporting and trade surveillance requirements.
You'll need to be comfortable working in an ad-hoc mode, where each developer picks up the most urgent or highest priority task and addresses it by making code changes, writing custom code, scripting and spinning up small prototypes.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in backend engineering
- Substantial programming knowledge - Java, Elixir, Scala and Typescript
- Financial services experience preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, git, etc.
- Working knowledge of SQL & Spark
- Data Lakehouse implementation experience or working knowledge of underlying concepts
