Unique opportunity to join this hugely successful prop trading firm as they scale significantly, building out a brand-new central trading team. With major investment in GPUs and compute infrastructure, this is a pivotal role. Your critical focus will be large-scale training of ML models and data processing, leveraging Ray (central to their workflow).
Experience in the following is ideal:
- Distributed training (e.g. XGBoost via Ray)
- GPU-heavy workloads
- MapReduce-style systems
You'll be expected to have a strong skills background in:
- Ray, Spark, Dask
- Databricks, Anyscale, Cloudera, or Snowflake
- Kubernetes (K8s) for ML clusters
Strong analytical, independent problem-solving, and communication.
