They offer prime brokerage, clearing and financing across traditional and digital assets, and are now looking to hire world-class engineers to help build on their success. This is a unique role, blending Level-1 support responsibilities with advanced DevOps engineering tasks, ensuring robust operational efficiency and technical excellence.
The successful Production Engineer will have outstanding communication skills, a collaborative, customer-focused mindset and be passionate about continuous learning & enhancing team capabilities.
Responsibilities- Provide production environment support, quickly diagnosing and resolving problems (offline & real-time) and keeping internal customers informed.
- Design, develop & maintain advanced reconciliation applications, ensuring consistency across digital & traditional finance trade-capture processes.
- Develop monitoring dashboards and alerts using DataDog, Grafana (or similar) to proactively identify and address production issues, including end-to-end system latency.
- Build tooling & monitoring solutions to facilitate comprehensive post-release validation.
- You will be the incident coordinator for operational incidents on the core engineering production platform (tech comms, uphold best practices, post-incident follow-up, etc.).
- 5+ years’ experience in L1 Support, DevOps, SRE (or similar roles), ideally in fintech environments.
- Proven experience designing and implementing monitoring and alerting tools (DataDog, Grafana).
- Strong understanding of and experience troubleshooting REST APIs and WebSockets.
- Proven track record of handling multiple priorities effectively and ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Experience with incident response protocols.
- Strong technical expertise with Python, Unix, PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Kafka, CockroachDB, FastAPI, GraphQL, Snowflake, Redis, and QuestDB (or equivalent).
- Strong experience with automation and reconciliation processes.
