Bridging the gap between traditional finance and the ever-evolving world of digital assets, this successful crypto trading and investments firm is looking to further expand with a talented engineer skilled in microwave network design. As a high-frequency network engineer, your focus will be designing, implementing and optimizing ultra-low-latency network infrastructure for the HFT platform, including RF link planning, site selection, and propagation analysis. You’ll collaborate with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to improve network performance, ensuring compliance with telecom regulations, spectrum usage policies and licensing requirements.

Requirements:

  • 1-7 years’ experience in high-frequency or low-latency networking, with expertise in microwave networks
  • In-depth knowledge of RF engineering, link budget analysis, antenna alignment
  • Solid network protocols background: TCP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, multicast, PTP timing synchronization
  • Network hardware skills – Cisco, Arista, Juniper – & low-latency networking techniques
  • Hands-on experience with network performance tuning, latency measurement, & packet analysis, e.g. Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.
  • Familiarity with Linux networking, automation (Python, Bash, Ansible), and network monitoring tools
  • Experience with cloud networking for AWS and GCP
  • Background in HFT or financial trading infrastructure
  • Experience with dark fiber, optical networking, and proprietary RF solutions
  • Familiarity with network time synchronization technologies (PTP, GPS, atomic clocks)
