This is an energy trading and infrastructure asset investment firm, redefining how data and technology drive the future of global energy trading. Now looking for experienced full-stack engineers to join the Data Science Technology team in London. This team is pivotal in giving the firm a competitive edge, and this role offers the opportunity to build Python-based services and custom APIs using modern frameworks and best-in-class design patterns. You will partner directly with the front office to optimize trading processes, as well as designing cloud-native tools (e.g. visualization analytics interfaces) that integrate seamlessly with the trading platform. If you like to solve complex, high-impact challenges at scale using a modern, open-source technology stack, this position would be perfect for you.
Requirements
- 5+ years professional full-stack software engineering experience in Python, React or Angular
- Deep understanding of OO programming
- Exposure to AWS Snowflake technologies
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of users ranging from very technical to non-technical
- Prior exposure to / demonstrated interest in finance, quant trading, or commodities markets
