Job Description
Fantastic opportunity to join an industry-leading global market maker, using innovative and cutting-edge technology. Forget the stuffy world of finance you thought you knew; developers here are tech-driven and truly world-class. Now looking to hire a strong Full Stack Engineer to join one of their major business areas, Fixed Income Macro Engineering.
Offering a unique chance to drive significant cross-functional impact, in this role you'll be responsible for developing full stack analytical tools for daily use by the trading desks for pre-trade analytics and risk management. You'll also collaborate with colleagues across the business (investment, research, engineering) to build next generation, web-based trading and research applications.
This role would be perfect for someone who demonstrates strong ownership, takes initiative, and thrives in an environment where you can take charge of critical projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong Typescript/React coding skills and at least one backend language, preferably Python
- Drive and capability to deliver strong UX/UI experiences
- Proficiency in both Linux programming environment and cloud technologies
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- A desire to become an expert in all aspects of fixed income and macro trading
- Interest in mentoring and developing early career talent preferred
