Job Description

Summary

Our client is a leading tech-driven quant and systematic hedge fund, leveraging deep knowledge in data, research, technology and trading to deliver high-quality returns. This opportunity offers an innovative and ambitious environment with excellent scope for career growth.

Now looking for a highly skilled and experienced cloud engineer, with deep expertise in AWS technologies. A high-impact position, you will design, develop and manage cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS services and AWS CDK, collaborating with development teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure and optimised cloud-based solutions. You'll also implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and take proactive measures to minimize downtime & improve user experience

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5+ years' experience in a very similar position, with strong focus on AWS, DevOps and Python programming
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, particularly AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), CloudWatch, Elastic Container Service and Lambda
  • Experience automating tasks in Bash or Python.
  • Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Desirable

  • Understanding of containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with IaC tools, e.g. AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK Stack, etc.)
