About Oxford International Education Group
To coordinate high-volume seasonal recruitment for our EFL camps—screening applicants, arranging and delivering interviews, managing candidate communications and offers—so all campuses are safely and appropriately staffed for summer delivery.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming applications, screen applicants and conduct initial shortlisting, maintain accurate candidate records, run first-stage phone/online pre-screening where appropriate
- Schedule interviews, send interview invites, ensure interviewers have correct information, JDs, tasks, role summary where appropriate
- Conduct interviews for seasonal roles, delivering consistent and exemplary candidate experience, capturing interview notes and recommendations
- Be the first point of contact for candidate queries via email/phone/WhatsApp (as appropriate). Send polished, friendly communication: acknowledgements, next-step instructions, interview prep, outcome messages.
- Maintain warm engagement with “reserve” candidates to reduce late-season shortages
- Support recruitment drives (e.g., university outreach, referral campaigns, local hiring, online events).
- Prepare recruitment materials: role summaries, FAQs, interview guides, candidate information packs.
- Prepare and send offer communications (offer email, start date confirmation, role/site allocation details).
- Coordinate acceptance tracking and respond to candidate questions about working patterns, camp life, and logistics.
- Manage “reserve list” and re-offer/reassign candidates when sites change requirement.
- Support polite, professional rejection communications and maintain positive brand reputation.
- Maintain a well-organised filing/record system for recruitment notes and interview outcomes.
- Produce weekly snapshots for wider team members
- Work with the Operations Manager to ensure all campuses are appropriately staffed in line with agreed teaching and programme supervision ratios
- Ensure all staff are recruited in line with our safe recruitment policy
- Assist with the planning and organisation of staff training days and inductions
- Participate in training days as required
- Work with the Operations Manager to develop and review staff appraisal systems and ensure these are implemented in campuses
- Ensure feedback gathering is timely and organised
- Visit campuses to check on overall management and student/group leader satisfaction

Statutory requirements
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure check or overseas equivalent
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in any discipline
- DELTA or Trinity Dip. TESOL (Desirable)
- CELTYL or YL Extension (Desirable)
- CELTA. Trinity TESOL and / or QTS in English or a Modern Foreign Language with ELT subsidiary (Desirable)
Experience and knowledge
- Experience in an administrative, recruitment coordination, HR support, customer service, or high volume scheduling role.
- Experience maintaining accurate records (spreadsheets/ATS/CRM) and handling confidential information.
- Good working knowledge of HR practices
- Experience of working in a junior residential language school setting or equivalent (Desirable)
- Teaching experience with junior learners across a variety of levels (Desirable)
- Proven experience screening applicants and/or supporting interview processes (shortlisting, interview booking, candidate communications). (Desirable)
Skills and abilities
- Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to juggle a high volume of applicants and interview scheduling.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator across channels with a professional, warm tone.
- Strong IT skills: Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to write clear, polished recruitment materials
- A sound knowledge of Microsoft office with good IT skill (Desirable)
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff (Desirable)
- Ability to function and communicate in a multicultural environment (Desirable)
- Have a positive and proactive attitude to work
- Demonstrate high levels of professionalism
