Materials Analysis is an Oxford Instruments Business Unit that manages our Electron Microscopy and Mechanical Microscopy products, Atomic Force Microscopes, Raman Microscopes and Benchtop NMR Products. We are part of the wider Oxford Instruments Group that also includes Andor Technology, NanoScience, Plasma Technology and X-Ray Technology. We are looking for a Production (MRP) Administrator to join our Operations Team. Your focus will be supporting and maintaining accurate ‘Business As Usual’ CSI/ShopTRAK transactions within the production function. This role is ideal if:

  • You are Health & Safety compliance trained.
  • You can demonstrate problem-solving skills utilising OpEx tools – has led improvement activities.
  • You can support the implementation of process change.
  • You have a flexible attitude and approach to changing requirements and priorities.

Location: We are based in High Wycombe (Cressex) and this role is an on-site role. We have a 37 hour working week, with 12:30 Friday finishes.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Work Order booking control/accuracy.
  • Correction and review of MRP Demand (Aging WIP, Unclosed Jobs etc.).
  • Reversal and reallocation of material from Cancelled and incorrect Orders.
  • Correctly accounted for Work In Progress (WIP), Finished goods and Lineside Materials.
  • Running and completion of production Cycle counts.
  • Non-Conformance inventory control.
  • Review and corrections of Clock on / Clock off activities (direct/indirect).
  • Diagnosing Root Cause of discrepancies in Operations MRP Transactions.
  • Generating KPIs and Data reports for identifying areas of change for process development.
  • Creation of Production data for Finance Reporting.
