Are you a problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for optimising business processes? We’re looking for an ERP Database Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting, analysing, testing, and implementing systems to improve the efficiency of our operations across engineering, finance, sales, marketing, and more.
Primary Purpose:
In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure our business systems run smoothly and align with strategic goals. You’ll support key functions with accurate reporting and KPI tracking, enabling timely, data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units, IT, and vendors to identify system requirements and deliver process solutions.
- Manage and support the development, testing, and implementation of business systems.
- Maintain user access, security settings, and system privileges.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolve system bugs.
- Handle service tickets and change requests—writing specifications and coordinating testing.
- Monitor and maintain data quality—facilitating cleansing initiatives and ensuring accuracy.
- Provide training and support materials for system users.
- Promote best practices and system usage across departments.
- Monitor system performance and support background utilities.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Qualifications:
- Qualification, training, or significant experience in ERP systems and database management
- Strong IT literacy
- CRM and PLM knowledge (preferred but not essential)
Professional Skills:
- Proven experience in business systems administration
- Direct experience with ERP systems (ERP tables and SQL knowledge essential)
- Understanding of ERP software methodologies
- Data management and cleansing expertise
- Working knowledge of PC operating systems, networks, and protocols
Bonus if you have experience with:
- Infor Syteline
- Doc-Trak
- ShopTrak
