The opportunity
In this busy role you can expect to learn how we manage the packing of our instruments, spare parts and consumables, which are exported across the globe. You will also help to manage the stock levels of packing materials, ensure that our customers and engineers have the parts that they require, as well as providing support to the stores function when necessary.
We will provide you with all the of necessary training for this opportunity which may include forklift truck operating and IATA (International Air Transport Associate), all we ask for in return is the willingness to learn.
About You
To be successful for this opportunity you will have previous experience of working in a packing department responsible for packing highly engineered, large goods. It would be useful if you were already trained to handle dangerous goods, had experience of reading engineering drawings or in possession of a valid FLT licence, however we will provide training in all these areas. We are also looking for an individual who is self-motivated, can work with minimal supervision and can be flexible to suit the needs of the business.
