Responsibilities
- Define and own the platform vision, value proposition, and pricing strategy
- Develop and maintain platform roadmaps aligned to customer needs and business priorities
- Act as Product Owner for shared platforms and prioritize features and investments
- Balance customer requirements, feasibility, cost, and time-to-market with trade-off decisions
- Drive platform standardisation across product lines to improve efficiency and procurement leverage
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives on productivity, equipment performance, uptime, and throughput
- Champion sustainability and ensure platform compliance with environmental regulations
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to deliver platform capabilities
- Build business cases and secure investment for platform development and innovation
- Define and track platform KPIs, lifecycle value, customer outcomes, quality, and performance metrics
- Promote SEMI standards (E10, E35, E79) and industry best practices
- Key requirements
- Significant experience in Product Management, Platform Ownership, or Product Leadership in a complex engineering/tech environment
- Proven track record managing shared technology platforms supporting multiple customer solutions
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, roadmap ownership, and value-based prioritisation
- Experience working with engineering teams in agile, matrix, or hybrid environments
- Commercial acumen to evaluate investments and build business cases
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including senior leaders
- Data-driven decision-making and performance management
- Customer-centric mindset
- Strategic thinking with execution focus
- Strong problem solving and prioritisation abilities
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing environments
- Understanding of plasma etch and deposition technologies
- Familiarity with SEMI standards (E10, E35, E79)
