The Electronic Engineering Placement Student will work in the New Product Development Engineering team, alongside a small team of experienced Electronic Engineers, supporting and enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio. This is a 12-month fixed term contract starting in September 2026 and will be based full-time onsite at OI Andor, Springvale Business Park, Belfast.

We are looking for enthusiastic Electronic engineering students who:

  • Will have successfully completed the 2nd year of a BEng/MEng degree (or equivalent) by June 2026.
  • Have an understanding of basic concepts of Electronic design - analogue and digital.
  • Have experience working and fault finding on electronic circuits/systems.
  • Are available to start placement in September 2026.
  • Are hungry to learn and innovate.
  • Are excellent team players and communicators.
  • Are eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.
