The opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the stores department for a busy manufacturing business, which includes providing clear leadership to the stores team, problem solving and proactively dealing with physical stock and the inventory, as well as ensuring work orders are fulfilled to time and quality.
About You
To be succeed in this role, you will have prior experience of successfully leading a team and working in a busy stores environment for a manufacturing organisation. It would be desirable if you can read technical drawings and use a stock control database. Being able to drive a forklift and communicate business needs to others is also ideal.
