Join our team for a permanent role based in Severn Beach, Bristol. In this critical position, you will provide leadership to the shift team and oversee the Value Stream Production and test processes. As a skilled shift leader, you will coach, manage performance, and foster technical development within your team. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of shift value stream leaders to drive safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people initiatives, reporting directly to the Value Stream Manager.

You will directly impact the deployment of business strategy and foster strong working relationships with other departments, promoting continuous development across Plasma Technology. As a Value Stream Shift Leader, you will be accountable for meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets, creating an environment of continuous improvement and Lean approaches.

  • Shift leadership of a value stream team.
  • Represent the value streams to customers or other external visitors.
  • Participate in compliance audits supporting the maintenance of external accreditations.
  • Contribute to creating and implementing a best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Manufacturing activities.
  • Undertake continuous training and development.

Education / Qualifications

An engineering degree, Apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience is advantageous. Lean Green belt or equivalent.
