Join Oxford Instruments and play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting across our global Group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll lead consolidation, statutory reporting, and support two Assistant Accountants while driving high‑quality financial processes across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver timely Group reporting in line with IFRS, UK GAAP and the Companies Act.
- Produce and analyse monthly management accounts, interim results and statutory accounts.
- Manage Group consolidation, including maintaining Cognos Controller.
- Prepare Group Financial Statements and provide insightful reports to senior management.
- Lead statutory reporting, Annual Report & Accounts preparation and manage interim/year‑end audits.
- Ensure subsidiaries follow Group accounting policies and reporting deadlines.
- Oversee Head Office budgeting and performance tracking.
- Support and develop two Assistant Accountants.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- ACA‑qualified, with experience in practice or industry financial reporting.
- Strong audit and reporting background.
- Advanced Cognos Controller and Excel skills.
- Excellent communicator with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Positive, proactive, collaborative and able to influence at all levels.
