The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Belfast. This is a pivotal role that provides comprehensive HR administration and operational support across the employee lifecycle. Acting as a first point of contact for employees and managers, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience while ensuring HR processes are managed efficiently, accurately, and confidentially.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of HR administration, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee lifecycle management, reporting, engagement activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Providing first-line support for HR queries from employees and managers
  • Coordinating onboarding activities and delivering a positive new starter experience
  • Managing employee lifecycle changes including promotions, salary changes, transfers, and contract amendments
  • Supporting payroll administration and liaising with external payroll providers
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and employee data
  • Administering employee benefits and recognition programmes
  • Producing HR reports and workforce analytics
  • Supporting employee engagement activities, wellbeing initiatives, and HR projects
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and data protection requirements

About You

You will be a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing a high-quality service to employees and managers alike.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree and a minimum of 2 years' HR experience, or 4 years' relevant HR experience
  • Experience using HR systems and maintaining employee data
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A professional, confidential, and customer-focused approach

Working Arrangements

This permanent role is full-time and primarily onsite in Belfast. Flexible working arrangements may be considered following successful completion of probation. Occasional travel to other company locations may be required.
