Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including switching, routing, wireless, and WAN technologies.
  • Assist with firewall configuration and network security controls.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune) and Azure AD.
  • Support server environments including Windows Server, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure and network issues.
  • Contribute to infrastructure and security improvements across multiple sites.
  • Support patching, monitoring, incident response, and business continuity activities.
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, network diagrams, and procedures.
  • Monitor performance and capacity to help improve reliability and resilience.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in at least five of the following areas:
    • Enterprise LAN/WAN networking (routing, switching, VLANs, Wi‑Fi)
    • Firewall administration and network security
    • Microsoft 365 and Azure AD identity management
    • Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware / Hyper‑V), and storage
    • Client operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
    • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and network issues
    • Applying security best practice (patching, hardening, identity)
    • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
    • Experience delivering infrastructure or security solutions across multiple locations
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Desirable:

  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or CompTIA (Network+, Server+, Security+)
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
