The Imaging Applications Specialist will work within the EMEAI commercial team at Oxford Instruments Andor, providing expert application support to sales teams, channel partners and customers across Europe, the Middle East and India (primarily Europe). The successful candidate will demonstrate and support Oxford Instruments’ advanced imaging portfolio while working closely with sales, service and marketing teams.
Qualifications
- A degree in Physics, Chemistry or Life Sciences
- Industrial experience of at least 2 years, 5 years is desirable
- Practical experience working with advanced imaging techniques
- Experience with SWIR, visible and X‑ray imaging detectors
- Strong knowledge of light microscopy techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A willingness to travel internationally as required
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering high‑quality demonstrations and application work
- Supporting customer training, workshops, webinars and hands‑on sessions
- Creating application‑focused marketing content such as blogs and application notes
- Supporting prototype testing and providing customer feedback to internal stakeholders
- Collaborating with sales managers, application specialists, service engineers and marketing teams
- Gathering market intelligence and identifying opportunities for product enhancement
Location & Travel
Position is based in Germany, France or the UK with a home office base. International travel is required as necessary.
