We are excited to announce a vacancy for a Customer Experience Assistant to join our team and help deliver exceptional service at this state-of-the-art Innovation Centre in the heart of Stockport Town Centre. Merseyway Innovation Centre (MIC) has been developed by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and has joined the network of innovation spaces managed by Oxford Innovation Space. Along with Stockport Business & Innovation Centre and Merchants House, MIC offers a thriving Innovation Centre where fledgling and small businesses are supported in their growth plans in a centrally located, flexible and inspirational environment.
Please note this is a part time role: 15hrs p/week - Monday & Tuesday 08:30 - 17:00
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcome visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage reception duties, including calls, emails, post, and meeting room bookings.
- Support events, social media updates, and community engagement activities.
- Keep the Centre running smoothly by maintaining supplies, equipment, and shared spaces.
- Assist with a variety of customer needs, from booking couriers to recommending local spots.
- Provide backup support to the Centre Manager and Assistant Centre Manager.
