Our centres are more than just buildings – they're buzzing communities of entrepreneurs, creators, and changemakers.
This dual-site role will support both Merseyway Innovation Centre (MIC), a state-of-the-art workspace in the heart of Stockport Town Centre, and Stockport Business & Innovation Centre (SBIC), based within the iconic Broadstone Mill. Developed by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and managed by Oxford Innovation Space, both centres are part of the Innovate Stockport network, supporting start-ups and growing businesses with flexible workspace, collaboration opportunities, and business support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Create and schedule engaging content across social media and other marketing channels to raise awareness of the Centre and its community.
- Support the planning and delivery of events, networking activities, and community initiatives that bring customers together.
- Capture stories, successes, and centre activity to help promote our customers, spaces, and wider brand.
- Welcome visitors and support front-of-house activity, helping to create a positive and professional customer experience.
- Assist with enquiries, bookings, and day-to-day centre administration, including calls, emails, and meeting room coordination.
- Work closely with the Centre team to keep shared spaces well-presented and support the smooth running of the Centre.
