Role Overview
We have an opportunity for a full-time HR Consultant to join the Community and Corporate HR Operational Team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will support the Head of HR in the delivery of the Trust\’s workforce strategy and provide complex HR advice and guidance in a unionised environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop appropriate HR interventions and provide advice and guidance on HR issues supporting the Transformation team.
- Support the Head of HR in development and delivery of the Trust\’s workforce strategy, taking account of performance objectives and key drivers.
- Work with the wider HR teams to ensure services meet the needs of directorates, utilising specialist teams in the People directorate.
- Assist managers in identifying HR solutions to resolve business issues and coordinate input from other specialised HR functions.
- Develop robust relationships with managers to influence, challenge and support area and people deliverables.
- Coach and influence managers on key people management and development issues, identifying training and development needs.
Qualifications
- Significant HR experience at an operational level within a complex and unionised environment.
- Ability to establish credibility at all levels and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative approach to HR solutions, with strong IT and analytical skills to analyse HR metrics and workforce data.
