We are looking for an experienced and creative Brand and Content Executive to join our dynamic marketing function. You will work as part of our Brand and Content team which is responsible for turning the brand vision, mission and values into compelling customer focused copy that fuels our multi-channel campaigns. You’ll be a creative individual with great copywriting skills and the ability to develop messaging which is on brand and resonates with our audiences, you’ll then be comfortable with optimising this for our channels including web, email and social as part of a year round engagement strategy.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the creation of copy and content to support campaign requirements for the brands you work on, ensuring they are on brand, customer focused and benefit led.
- Using this content first approach to scale consistent messaging across all channels including email, social, web, paid etc.
- Responsible for asset creation and delivery to support campaign activities with a mix of self-creation (Canva etc) and working with a designer.
- Ensuring all assets are on brand and lead to increased customer engagement.
- Lead on the execution of partnership marketing including media, sponsors and speakers, ensuring that activities are tracked and executed to time and quality.
- Responsible for the updating and maintenance of our websites from a content perspective.
- Working with the team and technical web support to ensure that copy and assets support improved User Experience as evidenced by increased engagement.
- Execution of all social media marketing channels including providing a plan around key milestones and maximising in-house content for added engagement and delivering growth in-line with benchmarks and KPIs.
You will be a self-starter who enjoys the pace of a dynamic work environment, you will play a key role in executing our marketing activities and deliverables to deliver portfolio and business outcomes.
We are looking for someone with:
- A proven track record of running successful and segmented campaigns.
- Great copywriting skills, able to produce customer focused benefit led creative copy.
- Good experience of current marketing technologies to maximise marketing effectiveness.
- Good understanding of email campaigns and how to segment for automation.
- Understanding of content marketing and the role it plays in brand building and year-round engagement.
- Experience of working in a matrix, with good stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- B2B events experience a bonus but not requirement.
- Ability to multi-task and ensure competing priorities are delivered to time and quality.
More about the role:
- Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
- Location: All our roles are hybrid (a mix of remote and in office). Our offices are located on the Botley Road in Oxford, with shops/restaurants within walking distance and easy access into Oxford City Centre.
- Job Type: Full time (37.5 hours a week)
