Function Description

Our client, a global leader in the life sciences sector, is seeking a Material Handler II to join their warehouse operations team in Paisley, Scotland. Working within a fast-paced distribution environment, you will be responsible for the accurate handling, picking, packing, and shipment of customer orders while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including counterbalance and reach trucks.
  • Process warehouse transactions using internal systems and software.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with GMP and SOP requirements.
  • Perform routine quality checks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping, safety, and operational efficiency.

Profile

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Good IT skills and experience working with warehouse systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Forklift or powered industrial truck experience is advantageous.
  • Able to work in temperature-controlled environments and perform manual handling activities.
