At Oxford Global Resources, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Global Logistics Specialist with in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical logistics for a 6-month project.
What will your role be?
You will play a key role in managing the entire supply chain, leading internal and external client inquiries, designing efficient transport solutions for domestic and international destinations, and negotiating supplier rates to optimize costs. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving import/export documentation, proactively tracking orders, and creating distribution orders in our GPM system.
Your responsibilities:
- Applying Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and ensuring compliance with Fisher Clinical Services quality standards.
- Managing and maintaining critical databases related to QA/GTC approvals, customs documentation, and invoicing.
- Leading logistics for Patheon Manufacturing API, including Import VAT reclaim and FBS transport services.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal teams such as Project Managers, Global Relationship Directors, Finance, and Commercial departments.
- Actively participating in operational meetings and collaborating on cross-functional process improvements.
What are we looking for?
- Strong experience in global logistics within the pharmaceutical industry, with comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance for pharmaceuticals and biologics (import/export, customs, GMP).
- Proven skills in vendor negotiation and invoicing management.
- Ability to analyze data and propose tailored solutions and pricing for both internal and external clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, focused on client satisfaction and problem-solving.
- Organizational skills, autonomy, and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
