Function Description
Our client, a global leader in the life sciences and medical technology sector, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join its production team in Cramlington, Northumberland. Working within a cGMP-compliant cleanroom environment, you will be responsible for the assembly and manufacture of high-quality single-use medical products, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble medical products within a cleanroom environment following approved procedures and production schedules.
- Set up and kit raw materials required for production activities.
- Read and follow assembly drawings, batch records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate manual, electronic, and pneumatic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality and customer specifications.
- Accurately complete production documentation and batch records in line with cGMP requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality within the production environment.
Profile
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience, ideally within a cleanroom or regulated environment.
- Experience working to SOPs and quality standards; cGMP knowledge is advantageous.
- Good manual dexterity and confidence using hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks.
