Situated in the heart of the historic university city of Oxford, this beautiful 17th-century coaching-inn looks over the Examination Halls and Magdalen Tower.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organised Linen Porter to join our housekeeping team. This is an important role that helps ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay. This is a part time role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, transport, and distribute clean linen throughout the hotel.
  • Remove used linen from guest rooms and public areas, ensuring timely delivery to the laundry.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of linen, towels, and housekeeping supplies on each floor.
  • Keep linen stores clean, tidy, and well organised.
  • Assist room attendants and the housekeeping team with linen requests and general support.
  • Report any damaged or missing linen to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
  • Support other housekeeping duties as required to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
