We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Playworker to join our supportive team at Woodside Junior School, where our "Rooted in Learning" ethos ensures every child thrives.

Woodside Junior School is a high achieving two form entry junior school based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. We are part of the Oxford Diocesan Bucks School Trust (ODBST). Our pupils are eager to learn and are keen to develop their aptitudes as well as skills. Additionally, they are well behaved, with good manners and fun to be around!

Responsibilities
  • Join our team as a Playworker to support children in a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Be organised, enthusiastic and proactive in engaging the children in outdoor and indoor activities at The Hideout Zone and our Breakfast club.
  • Contribute to exciting and engaging activities for the children in a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Support the delivery of wraparound provision as part of the school offering.
  • Collaborate with staff to promote high standards of behaviour, welfare and safeguarding.
Qualifications and Requirements

Prior experience and a relevant qualification for a Breakfast club playworker is preferred. The ODBST is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. Post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check.
