Oxford Data Plan is a fast-growing FinTech company providing alternative data and KPI tracking for 200+ listed companies worldwide. We help fundamental investors make better decisions with proprietary data insights. Founded in 2022, we have grown to over 70 people and are backed by leading investors.
We’re looking for a Junior Product Associate to join Oxford DataPlan's (ODP) Product & Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly coachable, detail-oriented, and eager to become deeply embedded in how our products, documentation, and internal platforms work.
You will own the day-to-day operational backbone of product knowledge at ODP — ensuring our internal knowledge base, product collateral, and sales enablement materials are accurate, consistent, and always up to date. Rather than directly answering product questions, you will own the process and SLA for how product and revenue questions are handled, ensuring timely, high-quality responses through the right channels and contributors.
This role sits at the intersection of product operations, sales enablement, and internal tooling, and is critical to maintaining internal alignment, credibility with customers, and a smooth flow of information across teams.
Key Responsibilities- Product Knowledge & Content Ownership
- Own and maintain ODP’s internal product knowledge base, ensuring information is accurate, current, well-structured, and aligned across all materials.
- Maintain and update product collateral and sales enablement content, including product overviews, methodology notes, FAQs, and internal guidance.
- Act as the single source of truth for product documentation, ensuring consistency across SharePoint, sales materials, internal docs, and other platforms used day to day.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of how ODP’s products are built, modelled, validated, and delivered, and ensure this knowledge is clearly documented and accessible.
- Revenue Question Flow & SLA Ownership
- Own the process and SLA for handling product-related questions from Revenue teams, ensuring questions are tracked, routed, and resolved within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with Product, Tech, and other stakeholders to ensure responses are accurate, consistent, and customer-ready.
- Monitor question volumes, themes, and response quality to identify gaps in documentation and proactively improve knowledge base content and sales materials.
- Product Operations & Platforms
- Own the structure, hygiene, and day-to-day upkeep of the platforms used to manage product knowledge and enablement.
- Ensure documentation, product updates, and internal materials are easy to find, clearly structured, and consistently maintained.
- Support internal product releases by preparing and maintaining release materials, internal summaries, and supporting documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Revenue, and Tech teams to ensure internal content reflects true product behavior and agreed naming conventions.
- Surface recurring gaps, inconsistencies, or sources of confusion to Product leadership, helping drive improvements in documentation, internal clarity, and operational processes.
- Highly coachable and eager to learn, with a strong willingness to build deep product knowledge over time with a view to taking over ownership and responsibility of the knowledge management process.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in keeping information accurate, consistent, and well-maintained.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability, particularly around processes, SLAs, and operational reliability.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to organize and present information clearly and logically.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and strong working knowledge of SharePoint, including managing structured content, version control, and internal documentation.
- Interest in product operations, sales enablement, internal tooling, or data-driven products is a strong plus.
This is a remote role within the EMEA area.
