Overview
We are seeking a Digital PR Executive to work alongside our SEO and Digital PR Manager on our clients in the finance space. This is a great opportunity to work with both startups and enterprise clients, developing tailored strategies that drive exceptional outcomes.
In addition to working with clients, you will contribute to Oxford Comma’s internal growth by supporting the agency’s marketing, lead generation, and positioning in the industry. The ideal candidate thrives on solving problems, embraces challenges, and is eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital PR: Plan and deliver digital PR campaigns for finance-focused clients, ensuring strategies are aligned with SEO goals and broader marketing objectives.
- Content writing: Write compelling, accurate, and well-researched content on finance and related topics, adapting tone and style for target audiences.
- Client relationship management: Build strong relationships with clients, serving as a point of contact alongside the SEO and Digital PR Manager; present complex SEO strategies and results clearly; adapt communication for diverse stakeholders from founders to executives.
- Analytics and reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMRush and Screaming Frog to monitor performance and crawl sites; deliver insightful reports and identify opportunities for further growth.
What We’re Looking For
Must-have skills:
- Proven experience in digital PR for finance clients or as a finance/business journalist working on the other side of digital PR.
- Strong understanding of retail finance products and the wider financial services landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accountability.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools such as Google Analytics.
- Confident presenter able to explain complex ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Proactive, problem-solving attitude with a drive to deliver results.
- Experience managing reactive communications and crisis/issues response.
- Experience with digital PR tools, media monitoring platforms, or PR automation systems.
