A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Site Supervisor who will be responsible for supporting the management team in delivering the smooth and efficient running of the Security service. The overall team objective is to ensure the security, safety and wellbeing of the site, visitors and to protect the property of the building, members and visitors against damage or theft; in accordance with procedures as determined by the site.

Pay: £15.96 per hour
Hours: Average 42 hours per week
Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days, Nights & Weekends
Job Requirements:
- SIA Door Supervisor & CCTV Licence required
- 2 years Team Leader / Supervisor / Manager experience in the corporate sector is required
- Man-Management skills required

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day security operations across site
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of security officers and support staff
- Ensure all security personnel comply with company policies and procedures
- Maintain full compliance with SIA licensing and regulatory requirements
- Carry out regular patrols and inspections of the site and perimeter
- Monitor CCTV systems in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Act as the main point of contact for security-related issues on site
- Lead / assist incident response, investigations, and corrective actions
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Conduct staff briefings, shift handovers, and task allocations
- Assist with staff rotas, attendance, and holiday or sickness cover
- Support recruitment, induction, and training of security staff
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Manage access control for staff, visitors, and contractors
- Liaise with customers, site management, and external stakeholders
- Be familiar with the site risk assessments
- Ensure emergency procedures and evacuation plans are understood and followed
- Coordinate with emergency services when required
- Handle conflict situations using appropriate de-escalation techniques
- Support crime deterrence measures
- Investigate breaches of security and recommend preventative measures
- Ensure key holding, pass control, and asset protection procedures are followed
- Maintain high standards of uniform, appearance, and professional conduct
- Monitor and report faults or maintenance issues affecting site security
- Manage and oversee use of security systems and equipment
- Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance checks
- Ensure data protection, confidentiality, and information security standards are upheld
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining site security
- Support business continuity and out-of-hours security arrangements
- Maintain accurate records and security documentation
- Supervise contractors working within secure areas
- Ensure lone working procedures are followed where applicable
- Support senior management with reports and operational updates
- Monitor team performance and address issues appropriately
- Promote a positive security culture across the site
- Encourage continuous improvement in security practices
- Ensure site-specific SOPs are followed consistently
- Assist with investigations into internal and external incidents
- Cover frontline security duties when required
- Manage shift coverage during peak periods or emergencies
- Maintain awareness of emerging security risks and threats
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific security requirements
- Promote a safe and secure environment for staff, customers, visitors, and the public
- Maintain effective communication
- Act as a professional representative of the company
