Overview of the Tenancy Services Manager role at Oxford City Council. The Tenancy Services Manager is responsible for the delivery and coordination of tenant services, ensuring effective planning and management of resources to deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Supported by the Landlord Services Lead, lead the operational delivery and co-ordination of a highly visible, proactive and preventative tenant services, meeting the needs of all tenants across a broad spectrum of operational activity.
- Work with the Landlord Services Lead, providing oversight and leadership to the teams of Area Housing Managers and other staff to ensure compliance with the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023 and the Regulator of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards.
- Collaborate with tenants, internal and external stakeholders to oversee the co-production, development and implementation of policies or procedures required to deliver national policy and statutory outcomes.
- Ensure all operational activity is compliant with housing standards through monitoring of performance, identifying improvements required, and implementing necessary changes.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with key external stakeholders across the public service system, including adult social care and children’s social care, to continuously improve operations and support provided to tenants.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience delivering tenant services operations and managing resources to achieve customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of housing standards and regulatory frameworks related to social housing.
