We are looking to recruit an experienced Overpayment Officer to join our Incomes Team. If you’re proactive, customer focused and care about what you do we want to hear from you.
The Incomes Team sits in the Corporate Services Directorate of Oxford City Council and forms part of the Revenues Team. Our primary function is to provide a comprehensive income collection service for a range of charges including, Commercial Rent, Garden Waste, Trade Waste, Overpaid Housing Benefit, and various other types of Sundry Debt.
The successful candidate will join our small, dedicated team whose overall goal is to maximise the Council’s income by effectively collecting monies owed. As an Overpayment Officer you will be required to work on Housing Benefit Overpayment debt taking appropriate action in accordance with the Council’s collection policies and procedures.
