Salary G7: £43,100 per annum full time (pro rata for part time). 37 contractual hours. 29 days holiday, LGPS, subsidised leisure membership, flex scheme, employee benefits scheme, post-probation pay increment.

Oxford City Council is entering a period of significant change. In this role you will help deliver a smooth, legally compliant, people‑centred transition to the new Council structures through effective coaching of managers on employee relations cases such as absence management, poor performance, organisational change, disciplinaries and grievances. You will evaluate workforce impact, identify risks, and prepare managers and employees for forthcoming structural changes through robust planning, consultation and job evaluation support.

Attend formal meetings, advise on employment law, policy, procedures and best practice to ensure we consistently do the right thing by staff. Shape future policies and processes through review and update of core employment policy documents and participate in project work across the HR function.
