We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service skills, able to work to tight deadlines within a busy team. This post is based in the busy Housing Needs Team within the Housing Services. The team focuses on the management of the Council's housing register, the allocation of social housing within the City, the provision of housing advice and the prevention of homelessness.
You will be based in the Furnished Tenancy and Under-Occupation Team where you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Furnished Tenancy Scheme and Removal Expenses Compensation Scheme (Under-Occupation) enabling tenants to sustain their tenancy as well as assisting current council tenants in downsizing their tenancy in accordance with Council policy by regularly visiting customers in their own homes to carry out electrical equipment testing (EET) as well as providing help and advice.
