We are looking for a highly experienced employee relations and employment policy professional with organisational change management experience to lead and develop the people consultancy service at Oxford City. You will be responsible for delivering a responsive service to a range of service areas with a team of advisors. It's an exciting time to join our organisation as we begin a significant change programme to reorganise local government locally that involves creating three new unitary councils. The change is both complex and challenging and will be a great learning and development opportunity for even the most experienced HR professionals.
We need someone who is flexible and happy to take on a range of responsibilities that will change as we move through the next two years. The challenge includes working in collaboration with other councils in Oxfordshire and West Berkshire and delivery of Oxford City's people strategy and plan alongside management team colleagues.
We are looking for someone who is excited about making a difference and motivated to deliver change and excellent service quality. You'll be joining a motivated and professional team that is highly regarded and an effective business partner, and you'll be welcomed and supported by your new colleagues in People Services. We are a team of 25 and the structure is shown below.
