The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate clinician – either a HCPC-registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or a BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist – to join our Oxford clinic, working with both adults and children. You will deliver high-quality therapy, engage in assessments where relevant, and contribute to the growth of our eating disorders and neurodevelopmental service. Your work will include:

- Collaborating with families, referrers and GPs;
- Maintaining clinical records;
- Being involved in the assessment and support of neurodevelopmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, evidence-based therapy (primarily CBT) to adults and children, adapting approaches to individual needs.
- Undertake assessments, develop formulations and treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Communicate clearly and sensitively with clients, families, referrers and GPs.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records, upholding confidentiality and safeguarding standards.
- Conduct ADHD and/or Autism assessments, write diagnostic reports, deliver feedback and post-diagnostic recommendations.
- Support ongoing service development, including referral pathways and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
- HCPC registration (Clinical or Counselling Psychologist) or BABCP accreditation as a CBT Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience delivering therapy to adults and children.
- Strong formulation, assessment, communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, safeguarding and professional standards.
- Warm, compassionate, professional approach and ability to work flexibly and autonomously.
- Experience or training in CBT-E or Eating disorders.
- Experience in private practice or independent therapy services.
- Experience or training in ADHD and/or Autism assessments and post-diagnostic support.
- Experience working with families, schools or community services supporting neurodivergent individuals.

- Competitive self-employed pay rates £60 – £80 per session and flexible scheduling to suit your work–life balance.
- A friendly, values-driven team with strong clinical and administrative systems.
- Opportunities for CPD and professional growth.
