We’re currently recruiting for an Engineering Team Lead for the Engineering team. In this role, you will lead an engineering team across multiple sites ID of OXB. You will develop, manage, lead and coach the team in line with OXB’s Engineering, Quality, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures, ensuring adherence to external regulatory standards and playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

  • The performance of multi‑disciplinary engineering team against internal customer expectations and agreed service levels, driving collaboration across the extended OXB team.
  • Leading continuous Improvement of engineering processes and procedures across both direct reports and department.
  • The individual team members professional development, competency assessments and training strategy.
  • Defining and supporting engineering projects relating to both operational and capital expenditure.
  • Ensuring suitable engineering resource is available 24/7.
  • Accountable for team’s adherence to planned maintenance and calibration schedules.
  • Participating and leading root cause analysis investigations using a systematic approach to resolve complex and technical problems, implementing suitable and sustainable solutions.
  • Ensuring quality documents are completed and progressed in line with internal procedures.
  • Engineering related contractors selection and contract management.
  • Identifying and leading asset criticality assessments, planned preventative maintenance, calibration standards across all business assets.
  • Delivery of collaborative solutions by establishing and maintaining good working relationships with the ENG department and wider OXB organisation.

We are looking for:

  • Background in HVAC, Electrical, Water systems and Medical gas and air systems.
  • GMP / Pharma regulated environment experience.
  • Educated to BSc level in an engineering / science related subject or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in team management.
