The purpose of the role is to lead and develop OXB's Global Technical Leaders team to ensure world-class technical capability, introduce strategic technologies, and drive an innovation-led service offering for our global viral vector CDMO business, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
- Lead, develop and manage the Global Technical Leader (TechLead) team to ensure high performance and technical capability.
- Provide global oversight of OXB's technology platforms across process and analytics.
- Drive the introduction of new technologies by partnering with Innovation, Process Development, Strategy and Global MSAT.
- Chair and manage the Technology Platforms Committee to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
- Define, communicate and maintain the company's services portfolio and ensure it evolves with platform developments.
- Collaborate with Strategy to evaluate new modality opportunities.
- Act as CMC Lead for late-phase programs, ensuring phase-appropriate readiness for clinical and future commercial use.
- Integrate customer feedback to optimise technology platforms and enhance service offerings.
We are looking for:
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline; a postgraduate degree or PhD is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a global CDMO or biopharma environment.
- Strong technical expertise in viral vector technologies, including process operations, analytics, equipment and gene delivery approaches.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks such as cGMP and ICH.
- Proven ability to deliver new technical capabilities and drive innovation.
- Strong strategic, analytical and commercial thinking skills.
- Experience in client-facing roles and use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
The US salary range for this position: $171k - $220k per year. This offer range represents the anticipated base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by OXB include health insurance, 401k contributions, paid time off (PTO) and tuition reimbursement. This role does not offer sponsorship for work authorization. External applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
